Mastering is a mystery to many people. It is the most subtle but one of the most vital steps in releasing your music to the world. Deep Dive understands the importance of mastering and strives to make your material sound it’s best under all circumstances while retaining the the vibe of the mixes you spent hours to achieve.

Much care was taken in designing and treating our control room to allow for true professional level mastering. We use ultra high end PSI mastering monitors along with Sonarworks Reference ID to achieve an extremely flat frequency response, eliminating any guesswork from the process. 

For digital distribution you will receive mastered WAV files at the sample and bit rate of the original material as well as 44.1/16 files (which are required for many streaming services). 

While we don’t cut vinyl master lacquers here, we can provide vinyl ready masters which will sound great and be safe for vinyl pressing. These are generally less compressed and not as loud in their digital form to allow for a more natural sound when pressed on vinyl.

One revision is included if needed at no extra charge. Re-mastering due to mix changes on your end will require an extra charge.

Mastering rates per song (under 5-6 minutes each) for EITHER Vinyl or Digital release:

1 song      = $75 ea

2 songs    = $70 ea

3 or more = $60 ea

For both vinyl and digital masters, an additonal $10 per track is added.

Instrumental versions (otherwise identical) of mastered tracks are $5 each.

DDP file sets for CD are $50. 

Full side vinyl masters and timing (PQ) sheet is $25 per side.
